Masjid Paloh

Masjid Kampung Paloh Background:

Masjid Kampong Paloh was built in 1912 during the reign of Sultan Idris Murshidul Al-Azzam Shah (1887-1916), the Sultan of Perak, by OKK Dato Seri Adika Raja Wan Muhammad Saleh ISO, his wife, Toh Puan Saripah Rodziah, En Mahmud bin Mohamed Taib and Haji Mohamad Kassim bin Banjar Jagra. The architecture is traditional vernacular Malay with British colonial influence. The Masjid is located at Jalan Datoh (formerly Hume Street), Ipoh, on the east side of Kinta River close to the Jalan Datoh bridge.
